Agost è un comune nella provincia spagnola di Alicante nella regione di Valencia con una superficie di 67 km². Agost conta 4.729 abitanti.
Il terreno argilloso nella Sierra del Ventùos e nella Sierra del Castellar è una vera miniera d'oro per Agost. In dodici fábricas i vasai sono ancora alle antiche ruote di tọra e il loro lavoro viene cotto nel forno secondo il modello arabo. Il Museo de Alfarería ha come obiettivo quello di mantenere vivo il mestiere.
