La Plaça Es Born è la principale piazza della città e antica piazza d'armi. In essa troviamo edifici come; il Comune, antico reale alcázar, costruito su un castello musulmano; l'Obelisco di 22 metri di altezza situato al centro della piazza, costruito a metà del XIX secolo in commemorazione dell'assalto turco del 1558; il belvedere, situato sopra le mura del XVII secolo e da dove si osserva il porto; il teatro del Born costruito nel 1873; il Palazzo Torresaura e il Palazzo Salort dei primi del XVIII secolo; e la Chiesa di Sant Francesc.
