Jardin Public - 1934 - Pierre.
La creazione del giardino pubblico fu avviata da Henri Fauchet (1866-1937), sindaco di Sainte-Foy-La-Grande dal 1926 al 1935. Acquistato dalla città dal comune di Pineuilh all'inizio del XX secolo, il terreno, attraversato dal torrente Rance, un piccolo affluente della Dordogna che costeggia la bastide a est, era inizialmente destinato a ricevere le macerie della città per livellare il terreno. In seguito è stato incanalato. Nel 1932, il Comune progettò di creare un giardino pubblico su questo sito.
