Questa torre dell'acqua, caratteristica dell'architettura in ferro del XIX secolo, nascosta nella foresta di Halatte a pochi chilometri da Senlis, vi sorprenderà! Sebbene le voci locali sostengano che sia stato Eiffel a costruire la torre, non si conosce l'identità del vero autore dell'opera. Tuttavia, è probabile che uno dei suoi studenti sia stato responsabile della sua costruzione. È l'unica torre dell'acqua in metallo del nord della Francia. Costruita originariamente intorno al 1895 per rifornire d'acqua una scuderia di purosangue del cioccolatiere Albert Menier, la torre dell'acqua è attualmente un serbatoio comunale. Lo sapevate?
