Cheddar è un grande villaggio e una parrocchia civile nel distretto di Sedgemoor della contea inglese del Somerset. Si trova sul bordo meridionale delle Mendip Hills, a 9 miglia a nord-ovest di Wells, 11 miglia a sud-est di Weston-super-Mare e 18 miglia a sud-ovest di Bristol.
