Il villaggio si trova a circa 3 miglia a nord di Harrogate, estendendosi a sud dai ponti sulla strada A61 sopra il fiume Nidd. L'area non sviluppata tra Killinghall e Harrogate è conosciuta come Killinghall Moor, parte della quale è stata sviluppata nel Jenny Fields Estate. Il villaggio di Ripley si trova a 1 miglio a nord e Hampsthwaite 2 miglia a ovest. La posizione di Killinghall sulla A61 collega il villaggio a Harrogate e Ripon. Un servizio autobus regolare tra Ripon, Harrogate e Leeds si ferma a Killinghall.
