Il percorso di trekking inizia in direzione nord-est dal villaggio di Exo Mouliana, situato tra Agios Nikolaos e Sitia. Il sentiero segue il corso del ruscello Lachana verso nord, in direzione della spiaggia rocciosa di Richtis.
