Fa parte dei borghi più belli d'Italia e dal 2019 si fregia del marchio di qualità turistico-ambientale della Bandiera arancione conferita dal Touring Club Italiano.
Si trova verso la fine della Vallata , la vallata che da Vittorio Veneto arriva a Follina seguendo il corso del Soligo, chiusa a nord dalle Prealpi Bellunesi e a sud dalle Colline Trevigiane e dal Quartier del Piave.
