Percorso locale - E1 Il percorso collega la città più antica del Lussemburgo con due dei punti geologici più impressionanti della regione: la Wollefsschlucht vicino a Echternach e la Huel Lee a Berdorf.
Il percorso ha un andamento pittoresco attraverso boschi e rocce nell'area tra Echternach e Berdorf. I punti salienti del cammino sono la Wollefsschlucht, la Huel Lee, l'anfiteatro e la valle di Aesbach.
La Wolfsschlucht è una fessura ripida e liscia attraverso la quale si snoda il sentiero.
Dal Medioevo al XIX secolo, le macine per i mulini della regione venivano estratte dalle grotte di Hohllay e Breechkaul (oggi l'anfiteatro). Le tracce sono ancora riconoscibili oggi come motivi caratteristici nella roccia.
Il cammino è piuttosto impegnativo (salita da Echternach al plateau di Berdorf) e dura circa 4 ore. Si consiglia vivamente di indossare scarpe robuste. Tuttavia, è possibile anche percorrere sezioni (ad esempio solo Echternach - Berdorf o viceversa). Ci sono collegamenti regolari di autobus tra Berdorf ed Echternach.
