La strada da Baglung a Jharkot è contrassegnata da Dangerousroads.org.

Soprattutto intorno a Tatopani, dove la gola è molto stretta, è stato necessario abbattere pietre per costruire la strada. La strada è stata costruita nei primi anni 2000 e migliorata (leggi: ampliata) nel 2010.

È stato costruito dall'esercito.

Finché non ci fosse una strada, tutto doveva essere trasportato da Baglung a Muktinath a piedi e con un asino . All'epoca il trekking in questa valle era molto piacevole e rilassante. Il Kali Gandaki Trek era una volta uno dei trekking più famosi al mondo.
