Met het ontrollen van een monumentaal Boerentorengedicht liet Tom Lanoye van zich spreken als eerste Antwerpse stadsdichter. In de twintig jaar erna verschenen tal van stadsgedichten in het straatbeeld.Van één woord tot een stroom van 6.300 letters en leestekens: de stadsdichters bezongen en bezingen onze stad in alle maten en vormen. Voormalig stadsdichter Maud Vanhauwaert neemt ons mee op pad langs markante sporen van twintig jaar stadsdichterschap.
