Wortegem-Petegem is een gemeente in de Belgische provincie Oost-Vlaanderen. De gemeente telt ruim 6.000 inwoners. Wortegem-Petegem ligt op de linkeroever van de Schelde, tussen de stad Oudenaarde en de provincie West-Vlaanderen.
De fusiegemeente Wortegem-Petegem bestaat uit de deelgemeenten Elsegem, Moregem, Petegem-aan-de-Schelde, Wortegem en Ooike. Petegem en Elsegem liggen aan de Schelde; Moregem, Ooike en Wortegem liggen iets meer naar het noorden. Een deel van de vroegere gemeente Ooike behoort tegenwoordig tot Oudenaarde. Het gemeentehuis van de fusiegemeente bevindt zich in Wortegem.
