Wie kent de Redoute nou niet? Misschien wel de beroemdste klim in België. De beklimming heeft een lengte van 1650 meter. Niet zo heel erg lang, maar dit wordt meer dan goed gemaakt door het stijgingspercentage. Op zijn steilst is de Redoute namelijk 21%. Zeker als je wat kilometers in de benen hebt zitten is het genoeg reden om te vloeken. Best een akelig ding dus. Het asfalt is vol gekalkt met namen van profs die hier voorbij gekomen zijn. Uiteraard wil je dan jezelf niet laten kennen! En bovenop wacht je als beloning een prachtig uitzicht.
