De Amerikaanse tank die hier aan de oevers van de Ourthe staat is een Sherman M4A1. Hij staat er als eerbetoon aan de 2de en 3de divisie Blindés van de Amerikanen die het duitse leger stopten in december 1944 en die La Roche en omgeving bevrijdden in januari 1945 tijdens de slag om de Ardennen.
