Onopvallend en wat verscholen tussen enkele weilanden en de uitlopers van het Silsombos ligt daar de Stenen Goot, een overblijfsel uit vroegere tijden. De Stenen Goot is een aquaduct dat het water van de Molenbeek over dat van haar zusterloop, de Weesbeek, vervoert. Ze zorgde ervoor dat het water van de Molenbeek, nadat het de Heersemmolen in Veltem-Beisem (Herent) had gevoed, kon vervoerd worden naar de watermolen van Ter Balkt (Kampenhout). De Molenbeek (boven) stroomt over de Weesbeek (onder)
