Op stap met Sint-Jakobus
Gebouwd tussen 1459 en 1518 heeft de kerk haar laatgotische architectuur grotendeels bewaard. Opvallend zijn de barokke preekstoel (1689) en de sacramentstoren (1593). De kerk is ook in het bezit van enkele waardevolle schilderijen en verschillende monumentale grafmonumenten en koperen grafplaten.
In deze pelgrimskerk op weg naar Compostela trekt het gepolychromeerde beeld van de heilige Jakobus onze aandacht. Het beeld dateert uit de 15de eeuw. Jakobus kunnen we steeds herkennen als de pelgrim met de lange mantel, breedgerande hoed, staf, reistas en drinkkalebas. Het gezicht bezit een buitengewone expressie. Aan zijn voeten knielen twee pelgrims op weg naar Compostella.
Deze kerk is een Open Kerk.
