Casino Knokke, opgetrokken in 1929-1931 in opdracht van Jozef Nellens door architect Léon Stynen (Antwerpen, 1899-1990), bijgestaan door de Antwerpse bouwmeesters J. Van Hoenacker en F. Dens. Na de bezetting en de zware vernielingen ten tijde van de Tweede Wereldoorlog verbouwd en heringericht in de late jaren 1940 en de jaren 1954-1955 onder leiding van de Brusselse architect Louis Govaerts. Herinrichtings- en verbouwingswerken volgen nog in de jaren 1970 en 1980. "Magrittezaal" beschermd als monument bij ministerieel besluit van 13/11/2003.
