De site van de duiventoren van Floreffe werd ingehuldigd ter gelegenheid van de Erfgoeddagen 2019, na een mooie herwaardering. Een beetje geschiedenis… In 2002 besluit de gemeente Floreffe de site van de duiventoren te kopen, deze was namelijk verlaten. Ze begint vervolgens een proces met als doel de duiventoren en de gehele site te herwaarderen. Vandaag de dag heeft de duiventoren zijn oorspronkelijke uiterlijk teruggevonden, met de voeten in het water. De installatie van een loopbrug maakt het mogelijk om toegang te krijgen.
