Een goeie 20 km langs de GR GRoene Gordel, van Halle naar Groenendaal, met flink wat voet- en veldwegen en daar is de doortocht van het Zoniënwoud natuurlijk niet vreemd aan. Dat begin- en eindpunt gemakkelijk met het openbaar vervoer te bereiken zijn (het is dan ook een Groene Halte) is een stevig pluspunt.
