De Berninapas is gelegen op 2328 meter. Passo del Bernina is een hoge bergpas in de Berninabergketen, in het kanton Graubünden (Graubünden) in het oosten van Zwitserland. Het verbindt de beroemde plaats St. Moritz in het dal Engadin met de Italiaans sprekende Val Poschiavo, die eindigt in het Italiaanse stadje Tirano in Valtellina. De pas ligt een paar kilometer ten oosten van de Piz Bernina. Een lagere pas ligt ten westen van de Bernina Pass, op 2253 meter. De Bernina Pass wordt doorkruist door weg en spoor, met een populaire toeristische trein, de Bernina Express werkt het hele jaar door tussen Chur en Tirano. De trein kruist de laagste pas op 2253 meter (bij Ospizio Bernina) - het is de hoogste spoorbaan route in Europa.
