Weil am Rhein is een gemeente in de Duitse deelstaat Baden-Württemberg, gelegen in de Landkreis Lörrach. De stad telt circa 30.000 inwoners . Door het ruime winkelaanbod en de bouw in 1991 van het overdekte winkelcentrum Rheincenter, trekt de stad ook veel Zwitserse en Franse consumenten aan.
Weil am Rhein heeft een oppervlakte van 19,47 km² en ligt in het uiterste zuidwesten van Duitsland tegen de Zwitserse en Franse grens. De stad behoort tot de agglomeratie van Bazel.
