De Heidhofsee is een meer in de Bottroper wijk Kirchhellen en met 4,8 hectare het op één na grootste van de stad. Het ontstond door de winning van quartsanden. Sinds 1973 vormt de Heidhofsee samen met het Heidesee een recreatiegebied. Aan de zuidoever van het meer zijn er weilanden voor toeristisch gebruik. Delen van het meer zijn beschermde biotopen. Heidhofsee en Heidesee worden gebruikt voor de hengelsport.
