In 1690 begon Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock met de werkzaamheden als klokkengieterij. Tot op de dag van vandaag, in de 12e generatie, produceert Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock kerkklokken volgens de traditionele kleimethode. De 13 ton hoge smeltoven is het hart van het bedrijf.
Rond 1900 begon Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock met het uitvoeren van vormgietwerk. Beelden, plastieken, reliëfs worden in brons, messing en aluminium gegoten volgens de zandgiet- of wasuitdrijvingsmethode, afhankelijk van wat het kunstwerk vereist. Ambachtelijke routine en een grote schat aan ervaring komen samen in het werk van de creatieven.
