Cunnewitz, Sorbisch, is een plaats in het centrum van de Landkreis Bautzen in Oost-Saksen en maakt sinds 1994 deel uit van de gemeente Ralbitz-Rosenthal. De plaats ligt in de Oberlausitz en behoort tot het kernwoongebied van de Sorben. Het merendeel van de inwoners spreekt Sorbisch als moedertaal.
De naam van de plaats is afgeleid van het Sorbische woord kóń en betekent zoveel als "paardenplaats" of "plaats van de paardenhouders". De Duitse naamvorm is gebaseerd op de Sorbische.
