De citadel van Wesel is een van de grootste behouden vestingwerken van het Rijnland en werd tussen 1688 en 1722 in Wesel aangelegd op plannen van Johan de Corbin in de vorm van een vijfpuntige ster, waarbij elke punt een bastion vertegenwoordigde. De citadel was de kern van de vesting Wesel. Tegenwoordig wordt de citadel gebruikt als cultureel centrum. Het omvat het LVR-Niederrheinmuseum Wesel, een deel van het Stedelijk Museum Wesel, de Muziek- en Kunstschool Wesel en het Stadsarchief Wesel en is een centrale evenementenlocatie van de Weseler Kulturnacht.
