Saint-Astier is een gemeente in het Franse departement Dordogne . De gemeente telde 5.352 inwoners op 1 januari 2019. De plaats maakt deel uit van het arrondissement Périgueux.De versterkte kerk heeft grondvesten die teruggaan tot de 11e eeuw, maar dateert grotendeels uit de 15e eeuw. De massieve kerktoren beschikt rondom over mezekouwen. In de rue de la Fontaine bevinden zich verschillende oude huizen met vakwerk, waaronder het maison Labidoire . Op een heuvel boven het stadje staat het Kasteel van Puyferrat, dat grotendeels zijn 15e-eeuwse uiterlijk heeft behouden.
