De Col d'Aubisque (1.709 m) ligt op de noordelijke hellingen van de Pic de Ger (2.613 m) en verbindt Laruns, in de vallei van de Gave d'Ossau, via Eaux-Bonnes (west) met Argelès-Gazost, in de vallei van de Gave de Pau, via de Col du Soulor (oost). De weg kruist het Cirque du Litor, in het bovenste deel van de Ouzom-vallei. De weg is over het algemeen gesloten van december tot juni.
