De oorspronkelijke beek ontspringt onder het Parc Animalier des Monts de Guéret. Het aquaduct, het deel dat door de mens is aangepast, begint zijn reis dankzij twee stenen die het water van de beek omleiden. Het kanaal loopt langs de weg tussen Le Mas en Sainte-Feyre. Het vervolgt zijn weg tot aan de weide van het kasteel, waar het een visvijver voedt waarvan twee irrigatiesloten aftakken. Deze besproeiing bemestte het veld, dat een hooiland werd. Dit ingenieuze systeem om water te verdelen en dorpen van water te voorzien door middel van de zwaartekracht was al in gebruik in de Gallo-Romeinse tijd, maar er is geen geschreven verslag van dit werk. Het aquaduct is zeer goed bewaard gebleven.
