Tintagel is een civil parish aan de noordkust van het Engelse graafschap Cornwall en heeft 1782 inwoners.
Tintagel en omgeving zijn sterk geassocieerd met de legende van koning Arthur. Volgens Geoffrey of Monmouths Historia regum Britanniae zou Uther Pendragon Arthur verwekt hebben in een kasteel dat stond op het schiereilandje ten noordwesten van het dorp. Tintagel wordt ook genoemd in Alfred Tennysons gedichtencyclus Idylls of the King en in Thomas Hardy's eenakter The Famous Tragedy of the Queen of Cornwall at Tintagel in Lyonnesse.
