Bolton Abbey is een dorp en burgerlijke parochie in het Craven-district van North Yorkshire, Engeland, 22 mijl ten noordwesten van Leeds. Het dorp ligt in Wharfedale, vlak bij de zuidelijke rand van het Yorkshire Dales National Park, en net ten noorden van de grens met West Yorkshire.
Het dorp ontleent zijn naam aan het klooster dat nu over het algemeen bekendstaat als Bolton Priory, en ligt naast het Bolton Abbey Estate, dat de kloosterresten omvat en verder reikt dan de parochie. De kerk van Bolton Priory is nu de parochiekerk van Bolton Abbey.
