Prato allo Stelvio (915m; 3000 inw.) heeft zich door zijn gunstige ligging aan de toegang tot het brede beboste dal van de Solda (een rechter zijrivier van de Adige) ontwikkeld tot een toeristenoord, waardoor het oude dorpsbeeld nagenoeg verloren is gegaan. Bezienswaardig is er het St. Johannkerkje uit de 13e eeuw met een karakteristieke ronde apsis in romaanse stijl. Het interieur bezit fresco's uit circa 1400.
