Eefde is een plaats in de Nederlandse gemeente Lochem . Het is gelegen aan het Twentekanaal en heeft 4.445 inwoners .Op het landgoed Rijsselt in Eefde was Nederlandsch Mettray gevestigd, een protestants opvoedingstehuis voor niet-criminele jongeren met gedragsproblemen dat in 1851 werd opgericht door Willem Hendrik Suringar. In 1998 is Nederlandsch Mettray omgevormd tot de Justitiële Jeugdinrichting Rentray.
