Kanaleneiland is een subwijk in de Utrechtse wijk Zuidwest in de Nederlandse provincie Utrecht. De wijk is gebouwd in de jaren 1960, als onderdeel van de grootschalige uitbreiding van de stad en gemeente Utrecht in die tijd. Kanaleneiland wordt sinds 2000 beschouwd als probleemwijk en is als zodanig opgenomen op de lijst van Vogelaar. De wijk telde in 2017 15.965 inwoners.
