The Sphere , officieel Sphere at Plaza Fountain, is een 7,5 meter hoge sculptuur uit 1971 van beeldhouwer Fritz Koenig, die tot de aanslagen van 11 september 2001 was gelegen op Austin J. Tobin Plaza aan de voet van het World Trade Center in New York.
Sphere at Plaza Fountain, een bronzen globe symbool voor handel en wereldvrede, die daadwerkelijk roteerde zoals de baan van de Aarde, raakte zwaar beschadigd na de verwoesting van de Twin Towers, maar werd als bij wonder uit het puin gerecupereerd en dient nu als herdenkingsmonument.
