Aquest abeurador es troba a l'inici/final del camí de Boca del Paso.
Aquest camí estret porta a la Quinta , on antigament hi havia una serradora . Els animals de càrrega servien per portar a la serradora la fusta que s'havia de serrar per al molí de sucre . Els animals bevien d'aquest abeurador.
Al llarg del recorregut es poden observar restes de la important activitat agrícola que es desenvolupava en aquesta zona: eras, antics bancals de gra, sèquies de drenatge de pedra i fusta, embassaments i restes d'antigues masies.
La ruta acaba al costat de l' Ermita de Santa Margarita , que data de finals del segle XVI i que acull dues imatges importants: Santa Margarita d'Antioquía i Santa Llúcia. A més, criden l'atenció la gran era i els antics safareigs.
