Nieuwpoort és una ciutat de Bèlgica, situada a la desembocadura del riu IJzer a la província de Flandes occidental, que forma part de la regió flamenca. El 2010 tenia uns 11.308 habitants. La ciutat de Nieuwpoort es troba a la desembocadura del riu Ijzer a uns tres quilòmetres de la costa. La ciutat es troba a la frontera entre els pòlders fèrtils i la zona sorrenca de les dunes.
