Sant Vicenç de Castellet és un municipi de Catalunya, el més poblat del sud del Bages. És al bell mig de la resta de municipis que configuren aquesta subcomarca -coneguda com a Bages Sud- i exerceix una funció de capitalitat pel que fa a la prestació de determinats serveis a la resta de municipis: Monistrol de Montserrat, Castellbell i el Vilar, Marganell, Castellgalí i el Pont de Vilomara i Rocafort. És proper pel nord a la confluència del Llobregat i el Cardener, els Dosrius del terme de Castellgalí, i pel sud al congost de Castellbell. Està ben comunicat amb Manresa i Barcelona per dues línies de ferrocarril i per l'Autopista de Montserrat.
