Ernest Hemingway es va quedar a Ronda durant l'estiu de 1959 i va situar Ronda fermament en la història literària amb la seva novel·la For Whom the Bell Tolls.
El parc es troba darrere de la famosa plaça de toros de Ronda. Un petit parc que ofereix pau i relax al centre de Ronda i on els músics ambulants, com el flamenc i els guitarristes, solen actuar al llarg del camí. El parc ofereix unes vistes magnífiques, sobretot si hi passeu per arribar al Mirador de Ronda.
