Nancy és un municipi francès, situat al departament de Meurthe i Mosel·la i a la regió de Gran Est. L'any 2007 tenia 105.349 habitants.Nancy fou la capital del ducat de Lorena i més endavant de la província francesa de Lorena. Quan la regió de Lorena va ser creada, a mitjan segle xx, Metz va ser triada com a capital en comptes de Nancy.
