El bosc nacional de Sivry-Rance ocupa actualment una superfície de 523 hectàrees. Està envoltat per un bosc de més de 1.000 hectàrees que s'estén al nord i a l'oest del poble de Rance.
Els boscos del bosc nacional són travessats per la N53 i el Ravel i, per tant, són de fàcil accés. El bosc estatal de Rance forma part del massís forestal de la Forêt du Pays de Chimay.
