Acireale és un municipi italià, situat a la regió de Sicília i a la ciutat metropolitana de Catània. L'any 2007 tenia 52.549 habitants. Limita amb els municipis d'Aci Castello, Aci Catena, Aci Sant'Antonio, Giarre, Riposto, Santa Venerina, Zafferana Etnea
Situada a la costa oriental de Sicília, 15 km al nord de Catània, la ciutat d'Acireale és principalment coneguda pels seus monuments barrocs i per la quantitat d'esglésies presents en el seu territori.
