El temple va ser construït l'any 1643 pel sacerdot Francesco Galasso sota el títol de "Sant Isidoro".
El 18 de maig de 1667 va ser destinada a la plantilla de forners pel canonge Girolamo Pavano, des d'aleshores el lloc de culte va ser anomenat Església de Sant'Isidoro dei Fornai.
L'edifici té una façana senzilla arrebossada a llevant.
