L'Al·legoria de les Fires Noves i del Folklore és una obra de l' escultor Salvador Vieira, inaugurada el 2009 .
Les Feiras Novas són festes del municipi de Ponte de Lima, que se celebren des de 1825 el segon cap de setmana de setembre, en honor a la Verge dels Dolors. Són les celebracions més importants i de més envergadura de Ponte de Lima. A més de música, folklore i focs artificials, també hi ha carreres de bestiar, carreres de cavalls , desfilades etnogràfices i històriques, gegantons i capçals... etc...
