Folkteatret er et teater, der blev opført i 1889 efter tegninger af Hermann Helmer og Ferdinand Fellner i den 7. Wiener bydel, Neubau, på Neustiftgasse 1, siden 2017: Arthur-Schnitzler-Platz 1. Det ligger overfor det naturhistoriske museum i nærheden af MuseumsQuartier og Spittelberg på Museumstraße og er et af de største teatre i den tysktalende verden. Under ledelse af Gustav Manker blev folkteatret med CHANGE af Wolfgang Bauer inviteret til Berliner Theatertreffen i 1970. Under ledelse af Kay Voges skete dette igen i 2022 med hele to produktioner.
