Waterloo er en by og kommune i provinsen Vallonsk Brabant i Belgien. Kommunen har over 30.000 indbyggere og har et boligpræg. Inden for kommunens grænser findes der ingen andre kerner. Den ældste kendte omtale af Waterloo stammer fra 1145. Det var dengang en Brabantisk landsby ved kanten af Soignes-skoven, vokset op omkring en gård fra Vorst kloster. Kirkeligt tilhørte det sognet Eigenbrakel. Ved bispedømmets omtegning i 1559 overgik det fra Kamerijk til Namen. I 1687-1690 fik "Petit-Waterloo" et kongekapel, den nuværende Sankt Josephs Kirke, ved indflydelse fra landgreve Francisco Antonio de Agurto.
