Dender er en flod i Belgien i vandløbet af Schelde. Den flyder gennem provinserne Hainaut, Østflandern og Flandern-Brabant over en længde på 65 km. Floden blev første gang nævnt under navnet Thenra i 896. Etymologien er usikker.
Dender opstår i Aat ved sammenløb af Østre Dender og Vestre eller Lille Dender og udmunder i Dendermonde på den højre bred i Schelde.
