I Dworp var der to ølbryggerier med navnet Dekoninck aktive: BIERSTEKERIJ DEKONINCK GEBROEDERS og BIERSTEKERIJ J. DEKONINCK & PROOST. Den første ølhandel var en fortsættelse af aktiviteterne fra stamfaderen Gregorius Dekoninck. Den anden, en virksomhed der blev grundlagt af Gregorius' yngste søn og som var uafhængig af den første. Ølhandlen Dekoninck Gebroeders blev grundlagt af Gregorius Josephus Dekoninck, en bryggerlærlig, der havde lært sit fag i bryggeriet den Bisschop, senere bryggeriet Van Haelen Gebroeders. De drev kroen "De Ster", som lå på Vroenenbos i Dworp. De to sønner, Henri og Jozef, udvidede ølhandlen under navnet Dekoninck Gebroeders. I 1972 overtog de ølhandlen Winderickx. Ølhandlen Dekoninck eksisterer stadig og er nu beliggende langs kanalen i Buizingen.
