Burladingen ligger på 722 m over havets overflade i en dalspinde i Schwäbischen Alb, ved den sydlige grænse af den Midterste Schwäbischen Alb til den Høje Schwabenalb.
Bækken Fehla udspringer i Burladingen og fører gennem Gauselfingen i østlig retning mod Lauchert. Denne udspringer ved bydelen Melchingen og flyder gennem Stetten under Holstein og Hörschwag mod Donau. Umiddelbart vest for kernebyen ligger den Europæiske hovedvandskel, og de i Killertal beliggende bydele Hausen im Killertal, Starzeln og Killer ligger ved Starzel, der flyder mod Neckar.
