Salzhemmendorf er en by i Hameln-Pyrmont amt i Niedersachsen. Salzhemmendorf var indtil slutningen af 2010 en statsligt anerkendt kursted med saltterapi.
Området omkring byen Salzhemmendorf ligger indenfor Leineberglandet i den østlige del af naturparken Weserbergland Schaumburg-Hameln og er hovedsageligt præget af bjergkæderne Ith mod vest, Osterwald mod nord og Thüster Berg mod øst. Byens dele ligger i højder på 86–441 over NHN. En sydvestlig biflod til Leine, Saale, flyder gennem landsbyen.
