Byen Isny im Allgäu er en helbredsklimatisk kurby i Ravensburg-distriktet i det württembergiske Allgäu. Den ligger ved grænsen til Baden-Württemberg mod Bayern og langs hovedruten for den Oberschwäbischen Barockstraße.
Den nuværende by, grundlagt omkring 1043, opnåede markret i slutningen af det 12. århundrede og blev hævet til by i 1281. Isny opnåede gennem køb af frihed i 1365 rigsfrihed og bevarede indtil medialiseringen i 1802 rettighederne som en selvstændig rigsby i Det Hellige Romerske Rige, hvilket afspejles i byens våbenskjold.
